Show Choir has begun.
Rehearsals for the school musical have also begun. That means on a usual school day, I'm at school from 6:55 am to 5:30 pm. Ugh.
But it is all very wonderful. I've always wanted to be in a musical, and I'm sure that Show Choir will get easier.
When it gets overwhelming, I just zone out. ^^
Gotta love zoning out.
It's That One Blog, where That One Girl tells about that one thing she did in that one place. At the time. With that other person. Good times . . .

The End and the Beginning
Well, first semester of this year is over.
On Tuesday, I shall have new classes and new experiences.
I feel kind of empty to know that my Drama 1 class is over, but at least I am in the school musical.
Also, ShowChoir begins.
It's kind of scary, the prospect of that much dancing, but I hope to make friends and have fun.
Much too late to back out now.
It is at 7:00 every morning, which is almost scarier than the dancing.

Play!
Last night, I had the wonderful opportunity to be in a mini-play! =D I had a smallish part, which made me unhappy, but I made sure to make it a marvelous minor role.
Our play was called Mere Mirror, which is a sort of parody of Snow White, like what happened while Snow White was living with dwarves. I got to be the huntsman, which was awkward, because I was the only girl out of forty or so who was playing a guy. But it was also good, because I didn't have to wear as much stage makeup, or a dress. (though sometimes I like to wear a dress)
Here are some pictures that my mom took:
Fun facts!
-I think I was one of the only girls there who didn't know how to put on the stage makeup
-My character was comic relief
-My character was the only member of castle staff who didn't have to wear a bag on my head

Me adjusting my hat (you can see the queen's hand [queen played by Beanie] on my right; she was walking around me) |
Me playing with my pickle jar and watching the queen get arrested (behind me are the queen's serving girls[I think that's Chelsea, Paige, and Whitney]) |

Cracker Nachos
I'm sure you've all had nachos before, because they are tasty. But have you had cracker nachos? NO! I'll bet* you have not.
*no I won't
How to make them:
-Get crackers
-Get cheese
-Put cheese on crackers
-Get meat (optional)
-Put meat on crackers
-Get various spices (cumin, taco seasoning, red pepper, pizza seasoning, et cetera)
-Get something else if you want it on your cracker nachos
-Put your cracker nachos in the microwave until the cheese makes noise
-Bribe someone with your cracker nachos, or eat them yourself

Review
I haven't posted much, although much has happened/will happen. So, first things first:
For Christmas I got . . .
-way too many holiday socks
-non-holiday socks
-super awesome soft monkey blanket
-camera+accessories
(maybe now I will want to post pictures on my blog, and you people who read this won't have your eyeballs burnt out by lack of pictures)
-chocolate
-squishy noodle thingies
-a life lesson: never tell your sisters that it's okay for them to buy you socks at ShopKo for Christmas
Here we have some pictures that I took with my camera:
My shoe! (without shoelaces, because they broke) |
Mr. Pickles! Isn't he adorable? |
The very elusive, legendary, 'Suzie'. This secretive creature has never been officially documented, and is terribly hard to photograph. Many people doubt her existence. |
